A little insight about myself, I have always wanted to find myself in a career where I knew I was helping families in my community. From working in law enforcement to getting my bachelor’s in healthcare administration, I knew my passion was holding a position with an organization that impacted lives in a positive way.

One key fact to know about me is why I have such passion for my job, specifically working with those dealing with Long-term care. My family and I have personally experienced what most of our clients go through daily, having a loved one in need of Long-term care.

Every year Beneficent hosts an annual meeting away from the office. As a team, we schedule sessions for professional and personal development, we share laughs and have fun, and strategize what is working well, and what is not working well. In this video you will hear Yazmin explain why she is motivated to do what she does for Beneficent's clients.

By having my own personal experience, I have found that I can empathize with our clients, and it has helped me form a bond with the families we serve. I enjoy being that person that can provide some form of certainty during a very uncertain time and can hopefully bring some relief.
Aside from being a case manager at Beneficent, I am also an Army wife and a mom to a beautiful seven-year-old girl. Working at Beneficent has allowed me to help families in Colorado even when the Army moves us all around and most importantly while being a mother and a wife. I truly feel that this organization has allowed me the best of both worlds. I can achieve the career goal and mission I have always wanted of helping families and individuals in my community, while also being able to leave my workday grateful for what my workday consisted of and enjoy the rest of my day happy with my family.
