It wasn’t until I started working at Beneficent that I truly realized how much insightful information is hidden away from families regarding care for their loved ones.

My childhood was all about helping people. As I got a little bit older, I had the privilege of watching my mom and my grandma become the caretakers of my great-grandma. It wasn’t until I started working at Beneficent that I truly realized how much insightful information is hidden away from families regarding care for their loved ones.

Later in life, I started college amid the pandemic, which effectively changed my journey to education. I was wildly unsure of what my career goals were after graduation, but the one thing I knew for certain was that I had to help people.

I started my career working at a large senior care facility with the intention of providing help to others, just as my family had done my whole life. During my time there I had the amazing opportunity of getting to know some outstanding individuals, mostly the seniors under my care. I worked very closely with these seniors and their families, always with the thought in my mind, “How can I improve their quality of life?”

Luckily, working at Beneficent, I am still able to improve the quality of life for our families, even on a wider scale than before. I have the great privilege of providing information and resources to families who may be struggling, who may be feeling lost, or who may just need a little bit of support.

My mother's wise words, "Things happen for a reason, and you are right where you need to be," have always been a guiding light in my life. These words drive my passion for personal growth and helping others. When I'm not at work, I dedicate my time to supporting people and constantly seeking new ways to become the best version of myself. This commitment to growth and service shapes who I am and fuels my professional endeavors.

I grew up in a small, tight-knit town in southern Colorado. Throughout my youth, I watched most of my family members take on jobs that allowed them to help people.

My mom was in the Red Cross.
My dad was in Community Corrections.
My grandma was an at-risk Youth Counselor.
My grandpa was a Probation Officer.
My uncle is a Firefighter.
